Energy Congress

Energy Congress held in Jeddah on June 23rd, 2008 under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, servant of the two mosques “hafidhahou allah wa raahah”.

The objective of this congress:

• How to deal with the increase in the price of oil ?
• $ 1.5 billion for the creation of a fund: “energy for the poor”
• Several decisions were taken following this congress, in particular a partnership agreement was signed between ARAMCO and TOTAL for the creation of a refinery of 400,000 barrels / day at Jubail.
